I don't think a lot of people took him seriously, but he's a pretty kickass guitarist in my opinion. I actually dig the Shalamar album he did with Howard Hewett and DeLisa Davis. After Howard left, though, Shalamar became a joke. He's embraced his indian heritage and he still records - he has/had a website where you can check out samples of his work.
