She Loves me for me Who here loves it!!
When i first heard this track it was just a nice small easy cute track on a experimental album. nothing big or super struck out at me But recently i been just playing this nearly everyday,, maybe its because the mood am in, i never thought Prince as a personal writer, but very rarely i feel that he was personal about the songs he sings, but i feel that he does feel what he sings and it shines through that record. i love the bridge in the song.. | |

the guitar, drums and vocal are spot on in this track.
its the one "safe" track on the album, even got some airplay over here in the uk. | |

A real highlight on an inconsistent album. Sweet, simple, and very nice. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

I love it too. "1 + 1 + 1 is 3" was the first song to catch my ear off this album and "She Loves Me For Me" was the second. I especially love it because it brings back wonderful memories of the whorish activities I was into one night while that song played over and over.  Andy is a four letter word. | |

Thats the right description that is was the SAFE record from the album. i never ever heard it on Radio here in Uk.. they only play his 80s to 90s stuff really. I guess its a touching song cos its easy to relate to in relationships., just to find someone to like you with all your faults included is a blessing, | |
