Prince's favourite albums by other artists

Inspired by Jesusb1's topic concerning Prince's favourite song, I have another question:

What are some of the albums for which Prince has professed his respect and admiration? Of course, there is Joni Mitchell's classic Blue, as well as his obvious influences like James Brown, Sly Stone... But I remember once reading something in which he talked about the Cocteau Twins' 'Treasure' as an album he really admired, which influenced him in his making of 'Sign O' the Times'. I subsequently bought the record and fell in love with it. Any other albums that you can remember him mentioning? There is no better introduction to new music than through the recommendation of artists whom you admire!

(You should check out Elvis Costello's huge list of his favourite albums somewhere on the web. The man has impeccable taste!)

For those interested, here is the Elvis Costello link:

Notice he has included 'Around the World in a Day,' 'Parade,' and 'Sign O' the Times' among his 500 favourite of all time!

I remember reading once a quote of Prince speaking about "Hyperballad" by Bjork.

I remember some years ago he expressed his admiration for the joni mitchell album The Hissing of Summer Lawns, which made me buy it. It's a very cool album...laid back and cool.
Has Prince ever commented on Marvin Gaye? As an influence or other? Marvins album What's Going On is one of my absolute favs.
