I just need to say... no one should be judging who is an "avid" fan or not. You either like the music or you don't. Just because you don't own a certain album it doesn't make you any less of a fan.

Considering your favorite P songs, buy Emancipation and Prince.
Steer clear of Parade and News.




Parade is one of my favorite all time albums, but I'm not sure you'd like it.

The wierd thing about parade is if you don't like it after about 60 seconds of listening to the first song, you won't like the entire albulm.

You should get parade, graffiti bridge and N.E.W.S next. Parade is one of the best Prince albums and almost all of the songs are great. Graffiti Bridge is essential for songs like joy in repetition and thieves n the temple. And N.E.W.S is a great instrumental album and one of the best!

Just buy them all.

The only official album I still don't have is Batman...I heard it when it was released, but never re purchased it on CD.

A rule for coming here, you must own and listen to all the albums. That's the rule.
