I was skimming through my local paper this morning and the name Prince popped off of the page. There was an article by Mr. Music- Jerry Osborne. Someone asked him about valuable CD and was wondering if they might have any hidden within their collection. Mr. Music listed 10 of them. Prince was #8, It says: Prince- My Name Was Prince (Warner Bros.): 1993 issue made in Japan for the media. Among the world's most valuable CD's. Value: $4500 to $5000!!!!!

Anyone here got that??

i think this was just a really well-packaged compilation/best-of CD, wasn't it? isn't there another rare WB prince anthology called 'royal jewels'? and then there's that crazy japanese 'i can't stand the rain' double album from 1984-85ish?

i wish i were skanky rich so i could own stuff like this. ah well. i always have my t.c. ellis "miss thing" cassingle.

There is a Promo Cd that was only given to radio-It say"MY NAME IS PRINCE AND ON THE 7TH DAY HE MADE MUSIC"
AT THE TIME THE RADIO WOULD NOT PLAY THE WORD GOD!
THIS PROMO IS VERY HARD TO FIND-IT DOES NOT EVEN HAVE A LABLE ON IT!IT IS JUST SILVER-WITH WB ON THE INSIDE.
