I stopped hoping for things on a new Prince album years ago because Prince is going to do whatever he wants to do anyway, whether it sells or not. I always hoped for a return of the synthesized, futuristic "old Prince" but I have given up on that by the time the 1990s had arrived. Now, I just hope for an album with plenty of funk and rock and no damn influences of hip hop whatsoever. Andy is a four letter word. | |

I just want something inspired and ambitious.
I didn't like TRC at all, but I did like that it was an album that he put his heart into. That's all I want. Just something that he strives with everything in him to make great. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

Funk funk and nothing but the funk. Plus I really want to hear a hot dance track that could be played all over the clubs. A Kiss or Erotic City type of jam for 2005 or 2006. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |
