I think with a lot of people who feel this way you have to ease them in with songs they like and wouldnt think theyre Prince. Since he has such a diverse spectrum of styles its not too hard. Im 21 and Ive had success trying to gently ease my friends into him, by using songs most similar to their prefered genre.

So I guess my point is it depends!

well only last night in a nightclub in a pub in glasgow i spun "gett off" on the juke-box, it went down a storm, loads of folk were digging this cut. The most popular played songs when i am out tend to be "kiss" and "cream".

They probably like the ones where Prince is stooping to an alltime low and selling out to hip hop. Songs like "Illusion, Coma, Pimp, and Circumstance" and "Life Of The Party".

it does depend on the teenager...altho a friend of mine said the only prince song she likes is erotic city but then again she hasn't even listened to much of his other music...but i'm still a teen and i love that song too nod
