Imagine, for a moment,that Prince had been born 2 decades later.....his one big break would arrive courtesy of the Pop Idol/ American Idol talent show. Which song would he have picked for his audition? Obviously, he couldn't sing one of his own as he hasn't written them yet, which contemporary tune would he pick?? Would Simon like it??? Or would it be 'distinctly average'????

I`m glad he is not competing in a songcontest. I like his voice very much but he is a better guitar and pianoplayer than singer.

I've seen a lot of people live, and Prince seems to be one of the best, most versatile vocalist these days...especially in the last 5 years, live.
