Prince and The Revolution Vs. Prince and The NPG Which 1 would win in a performance concert contest or whatever. Or which 1 do U think is better overall in Ur own mind with out the first Q. I cant choose between the 2. I like The Revolution's style and approach in2 the 80's in a storm of glory. But I'd have 2 say I enjoy old school Prince and his band more than P and The NPG. Eventhough I enjoy The NPG's music aswell. As 4 my first Q, I think Prince and The Revolution would blow Prince and The NPG away.
Like: Prince and The Revolution's Performance of Hits like Purple Rain Vs. Prince and The NPG's performance of Hits like Purple Rain Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

Ain't the NPG about twice as old as The Revolution? I tend to think that with age comes experience, skill, and technique. Even Prince has gotten much better! But I have to say that I really did love The Revolution back in the day. [Edited 8/10/05 23:43pm]

Um, well The New Power Generation .. even my mom said this to me..she looked at it as..an EVERCHANGING group. It's always going to grow. The NPG is not a band, it's more than that..the NPG will be replaced again and again and again..there will never be a "full" NPG. There4 unlike the Revolution..there is almost no real battle. Well, I guess one could argue that Revolution was more tight. Of course, P had members in the band which had been playing with him for a while (David Z, Dr. Fink and etc.).

Revolution was his best band because they influenced him most. I`m talking about Wendy and Lisa. When the Revolution was history he lost the litle extra in his music. I believe that sex is a beautiful thing between two people. Between five, it's fantastic.
