Also which version of Crucial is better: The one with the extra guitar parts in

it or the saxophone version? Just heard the guitar version! WOW, this is so

much different than that edit on Crystal Ball. Haha and to think I thought that

was the whole song !! Man you can really miss out on a lot just

buying the "official" versions of things cant you. I wonder if the sax version

is this good? Dag Prince why wouldn't you want people to heard those versions

of Crucial, especially with it being to me at least one of the best ones I had

never heard before on Crystal Ball. Now I see that's just a shell of the song.

great song... I do prefer the prince vocal version.... really nice song. and it goes great after moviestar with the snoring, environmental records segue.

i heard it in 1988 on a bootleg record called "chocolate" in it there is some kind of original configuration of "moviestar" that then goes to a scene where the date is taken home and then prince puts on an "environmental record" and she falls asleep and the little keyboard of "Place in Heaven" fades in under the snoring...

I'll be the odd fan out ... again and comment that I hate this song with a passion. Every version I've heard is terrible. I lump this mess in the same sucky song bin as All My Dreams, Neon Telephone, Splash, and Make Your Mamma Happy.
