I was watchin the Dave Chappelle show the other week and they occasionally have celebrity stories by Charlie Murphy (Eddie Murphy's Bro) and they are basically storie about when Eddie has taken him out 2 crazy parties and he meets random celebs nyway this time he met up wid Prince and his posse of wierdos and he asked him if he wanted 2 come bak 2 his house and listen 2 sum music etc, so Charlie did and Prince got bored and suggested they play sum basketball against charlie and his buddies. Charlie and his crew started laughin they couldnt help themselves they thought they had it in the bag, so they went out 2 get ready charlie got sum clothes off Prince, and when his team came out they were still wearin their crazy Purple Rain get up, again they started laughin, and charlie suggested it should b shirts vs blouses!
So they tip off and charlie thinks his got it in the bag but thats when the sh!t starts 2 go down, Prince starts kickin Charlies ass and eventually wins! does ny1 know if this story is true. Charlie states at the end of it that its true and that nobody would ever even bother thinkin up a story as bizarre as that which is a good point.
If so i wanna challenge prince 2 sum bball and c how he fares up haha man it was f*ckin funny tho man Chappelle is 1 funny nigga!

Prince has always been a basketball fan. He played for his High School team, name checks players in his songs often (Jordan and Kevin Garnett come to mind), attends games now and then and he even had a hoop set up as part of the stage for the Lovesexy tour! So it's no secret that he might actually be (at least) a half decent player!

i mean whos as cool as prince 2 play bball in that crazy get up i mean if he did and still managed 2 win thats even crazier, im not a huge fan of him im just gettin into him hardcore now, used 2 listen 2 him a bit when i was younger we had diamonds and pearls on tape haha and sum others cant remember now i should look 4 them! although my old work ruined diamonds and pearls the song cause they used 2 play it on the PA radio and that tape would get replayed like at least 50 times a day if not more well let me think.....45 min tape....the store opened at 6 and closed at midnight. ok so its more like 21 times but still thats a lot of times and especially when theres heaps of other crap on the tape as well man that used 2 piss me off!

Whoever did the music for the Houston Rockets back in 1993 - 94 was a big Prince fan. There were several Prince songs played during breaks in the playoffs, and I attribute that to be reason #2 as to why the Rockets won the NBA Championship (reason #1 being, of course, that Hakeen Olajuwon was the best player on the planet that year, and would have been even if Michael Jordan hadn't been kicked out of the NBA for gambling...errrr, wanted to try baseball).

I wasn't smart enough to buy my playoff tickets for the 1995 Rockets championship, but I'm going to assume the Prince karma was flowing then, too.
