Prince redoing hits. Wouldn't it be cool if Prince redid his old hits?
Have a modern rendition of When Doves Cry,Let's GO Crazy,U Got The Look,and Purple Rain. Since it's rumored that he won't be playing his oldhits again he could play remakes of them when he plays on tour. Working up a purple sweat. | |

already done. i believe he redid them in 2002 or 2003. it was his motivation for the australia and asia tours and the musicology tour
some cryptic email came out about trying to recreate old songs, they didn't sound right blah blah blah and that prince would tour with them for the last time I THINK, or am i just chatting a load of cradswallop? | |

He re-did all his older WB records in 1999/2000. Thank sweet little Jehovah he kept those under wraps. Like someone said above - Remember 1999:The New Master, or the performance of The Christ? It would be interesting to hear what he did with them, but I'm not sure I'd wanna buy all the "Remasters" all just hear what a hatchet job he did of them all.
