Data Bank (Prince version) His is so much better than the Times'. I love The Time no doubt but his version is just better. I especially love the end where he acts like the band is outta control and they're just playing solos and everything and he didn't want them.
That reminds me of some of the old prince stuff where he sorta played around on track and had fun like The Time does on some of their stuff. " I didn't call no horns", " I didn't call that either", "I don't wanna hear no horns I just wanna hear ..... Lisa" Such a fun track!!   "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. In my opinion, The time's version just has no funky bounce, worse lyrics, and sounds cheesy (added synth lines, "fly boy, fly girl" )... morris day's vocals kind of drain the song for me...
