Fake Drum Machines and Horns Can you list some songs where Prince used fake horns and/or drum machines when he shouldn't? (List songs, not whole albums please.) What's the worst?

I've always thought that the title track from "Emancipation" deserved a better treatment...
But that's just me. | |

By the way, what is a "fake drum machine"??
Would that be a real drummer?

I think he either used real horns or "fake" horns very well. No real mistakes there, as far as I can remember.

But that's just me. Totally agree with you. This song together with jam of the year is just lame. Many of his best songs are based on drum-machines, like When doves cry and Kiss, but they sound alot more funky and "real". And the plastic sound of Rave..also kills me. I believe that sex is a beautiful thing between two people. Between five, it's fantastic.
