Grand Progression Finally got a chance to hear it. Don't really know what to make of it yet because I had heard it talked about so long that I had all these expectations built up for what it might sound like.
I have to listen to it somemore and then after I get over all those xpectations I had and just listen to it for what it is then i'll have a better feeling if I like or don't like it. yea, its just so cool and not over the top. its simple but beautiful. so many tiny details make me love it. like the way his voice cracks when he says the last "darling it seems i have found the grand progression..." . simple beautiful Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...

"Grand Progression" or "Still Would Stand All Time"? wasn't "Grand Progression" supposed to be in 'Graffiit Bridge' until Prince decided to use "Still Would Stand All Time" instead? | |

Syrupy , corny rubbish with a great title!!!!, Still would stand all time is just too beautiful, soulful with a great Gospel feel. May not be 'out there' or challenging but still a lovely song. | |

Ahh Grand Progression, one of my favorite boots. I love when he does understated piano ballads like this. Atmospheric yet earthy at the same time. I wish he would release a quality audio version of it though because the quality of the one I have is terrible. | |
