Yay i'm sooo happy!! I finally got a copy of the original We Can Funk/non-Graffiti Bridge version and
I can hereby tell you it is as funky as I remember and I probably will never again listen to that thing on the album. "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done.

Very different from the version released on Graffiti Bridge in 1990. We Can Funk [#2] (5:32) Slightly different mix of version #1. We Can Funk [#3] (5:53) Another slightly different mix. The vocals are more prominent in this version. 1989 We Can Funk [#4] (6:24) Alternate version. Longer than the released version, and lacking most of the backing vocals. We Can Funk [#5] (10:25) Alternate version. Much longer and rawer than the released version. 1990 We Can Funk [#6] (6:44) Alternate version. We Can Funk [#7] (7:35) Alternate version.

YEAH ... YOU'RE RIGHT:
the 1986 versions are the best versions! ... but version 5 is pretty cool too
