Is this scene from the "battle" on the dvd?

Not sure because I don't see anything.

There were quite a few scenes from Graffiti Bridge that were shown on BET, and in the trailer, but never made it to the final cut of the movie. So how on earth could that have been a "BOOTLEG" clip?

It's simply a deleted scene, what's the big deal? It's the Time doing the Latest Fashion outside during the "battle".

Either the rights holder has consented to the scene being shared, or sharing it is a violation of those rights.

It's difficult to say from the link that is provided and still very much in evidence via this website - despite the fact that it has been snipped from this particular thread.

typically, when you see 'deleted scene' footage from a movie that has a timestamp in the corner, and when the footage is in poor quality, it's a safe bet that you've come across bootlegged material.

this becomes even more evident when the movie in question has recently (over the past year) been released as a DVD, and the deleted scene in question is not included in the disc's special features.

even if the deleted scenes in question were edited back in for a tv broadcast (which happens all the time - there are TONS of added scenes in the edited-for-TV version of john waters' "cry-baby", for example), the clip that was posted on this thread was clearly not television broadcast quality.

bottom line: ya posted a bootlegged clip, and we can't do that on this site. sorry.

You mean i actually missed footage that was not shown...from this horrid movie. Damn! Makes me wanna go out & buy the dvd now.

The true treasure would be to find a deleted scene that is actually good, in contrast to the rest of the film.

"The Latest Fashion" is a crap song,so Prince made the right decision by removing the performance from the film.But I would love to see the deleted footage of "Can't Stop This Feeling I Got".Has anyone ever seen it?

I wish all of GB was a deleted scene. That would mean Prince realised he had to leave the whole thing on the cutting floor.

There's loads of deleted scenes from Graffiti Bridge.
Since this movie is a 'fans only' kinda film, it would be cool if they could
release the original first cut of the movie that included all the full length
versions of all the tracks plus the missing songs and quite a few extra scenes.
Yeah, this would make the film overlong, but who's gonna watch it but the sort
of people who'd wanna see all that extra stuff anyway?
