I think it's almost impossible to not imitate people who inspire us on some level. Like: Do you think Prince copied some of Hendrix's style? lol

arrrrghhhh you just reminded me...

My ex-bestfriend went through such annoying phase of calling people "cuz" after UTCM and when ever his relationships would break up he'd write them a note saying "we had fun didnt we?!"

The best was when he'd get into arguments and used the immortal line "It aint no more than you'll ever learn in your small sheltered world".

He'd also run really fast round corners and 'skid' like Prince does after he's just escaped down the ladder from Marys moms house

His list was endless but it was the UTCM quotes that stuck in my mind

Oh..I forgot, when ever he'd hear something unexpected or interesting (or see an attractive girl) he make the same "oooh" that Prince does in response to Mary telling Christopher that her father has a Learjet.

I suppose I'm guilty of saying "let the games begin" whenever Im going into a situation Im not comforatble with...but I think I was doing that before the London after show that made it to video (The Ride?) because its also in a film...but I cant be sure (either way I didnt make it up myself so must have copied it from somewhere)
