Jughead

Discuss It.

Personally I like it and I think it's underated maybe that's cause I'm a teenager. I think it's really funky and the production is great. The opening of the song is so soulful even though it wasn't nessacary at all. I love how Tony's saying the song's gonna go world wide. However the song crashes right when Prince's raps. He ruined it. However the idea of a new dance step was great though it didn't catch on. Was this song actually a single?

P.S. I know it's off topic but I didn't wanna make a whole new topic about it, who's the women on D&P? Can one person answer plese, thanks. Anyways discuss jughead and why it sucks/rocks.

You mean on the cover of the album? Two dancers Prince christened "Diamond" & "Pearl". They were basically just props, but also contributed lead vocals to a song called "51 Hours" which never got released.

I do believe that 'diamond' shone a few years back on the Buffy the vampire slayer t.v. show ( as Gile's old girlfriend!!). Alas.....pearl must've crawled back into her shell.....

I dunno dude but I think you're in the rare percentage of people who like it here. I don't like it because it just sounds silly and not silly good.
"Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done.

Quite possibly the most reviled song amongst Prince fans ever. Tony M at his worst!

I'm in the mood for it sometimes. It's not as bad as, say, well I won't mention any names of songs that will be too controversial from a certain overrated early 80's album, but it's not that bad.
Don't hurt me, I'm a newb. I'm supposed to be stupid.

Who is singing on the track "Diamonds & Pearls"? Is that what you are asking? It is Prince and Rosie Gaines. If you are referring to Jughead, well, their really isn't a whole lot of singing involved. Tony M does his gawd-awful rap, Rosie screeches out a rhyme as well and P rounds out the torturous experience.
