Is the "I want U" from the Lyric book? I'm thinkin' he changed that joker at some point. "I warm 2 U" sounds so much HOTTER.

I guess I didn't note in my original post that I checked all over the net for the lyrics and they all came back with the "I want U" version. That's why I asked here. I figured that most people would assume that I already searched the net

I'm trying to figure out where in the world the net lyric squads came up with the idea that Prince says "I want U"; since, it seems almost obvious to me that he is saying "I warm to you." That, or he's saying it like "I whan teh you" with Four syllables.

I know that the Emancipation album also had a seperate lyric book you could buy at the concerts. I remember that the lyric book may have had other lyrics as different from what was actually sung.

I guess I'll just stick to singing "I warm 2 U" and improving the song by a few "degrees"

I think the people that put the lyrics on their site just wrote what they heard by ear so i'm not convinced 'I Want You' is right , i also think it's
