Does your 'Hits' dvd still work? Yo.
Pulled out m'Hits dvd today, which I bought when it first came out, in nineteen-ninety-hmm-de-hoo-haa. And let me just say for the record that I take goooood care o' my stuff. This MF don't work no more. It skips all over the place, and I only ever watched it a couple of times when I bought it. There are no blemishes on the disc. I have other dvds that I've owned for longer, and watched waaaaay more times, but this one's gone belly-up. Have you watched yours... lately? Does it work? Or is there something wrong in the construction here? Warner Bros! You listenin'? We need a comprehensive dvd video collection - STAT!  | |

It might have something to do with the paste that's keeping the disc together, but that's supposed to last 20 years.  | |

Maybe your laser lens needs cleaning. Some DVDs are more prone to laser deflection when dust builds up on the "eye". If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

Are you still using the same DVD player you had last time you played it?
I had a regular DVD player that played all my stuff, but it broke, so I started using a Playstation 2 and come to find out that it doesn't play a few of my discs that are pretty old. I don't have the Hits DVD. I keep holding out in the belief that a better, more extensive release in on the horizon. |

Mine still works and it is the most watched DVD that I own. Yeah!!! Yes they shpuld release another collection DVD that would include other videos Prince made.

I've had the VHS for all these years. I recently ordered the DVD from my local record store and I am still waiting for it to come in. That was over a month ago. Andy is a four letter word. | |
