This may sound like a dumb question, but in The Revolution, was it Wendy or Lisa that played keyboards? I am asking becaus my guitar teacher told me he used to date the keyboardist in 1985. I don't know if that is actually true or not.

First off, Lisa is not bisexual. She is a lesbian, and never dated Prince (this rumour may have started because of the outtake "Lisa"). W&L were an item before Wendy even joined the Revolution in 1984, and didn't break up until failry recently.

Perhaps this guitar teacher dated Gayle Chapman? She was Prince's keyboardist before Lisa. By 1985 she was long gone from Prince's band, but did she tell him she was his current keyboardist at the time? She might have told him she used to be in Prince's band at that point.

As for the rumoured relationship between her & Prince, I don't buy it. Alex Hahn's book is full of rumours, half-truths and out-of-context statements (quite a few of his sources have come forward to say they were mis-quoted). The MAIN reason I don't believe it is the whole "her parents didn't approve because he was black" thing. Lisa's dad is an old liberal, California musician from the hippie days. Doesn't strike me as the racist type.

It really doesn't matter in the long run. I think it's safe to say that the person this guitar teacher was dating was not Lisa

W&L even said themselves that their parents were into the beatnik culture and that influence was why Lisa (unlike Gayle) had no problem or wasn't shock of performing Head and homegirl was just nineteen.

i still standing by that there something went on between her and prince sexually and stopped sounding so certain nothing happen because you wasn't there and also unless you know lisa's personal life better than the rest of us you also can't assumed that the guitarist teacher didn't dated her.

No, I wasn't around P during that time period, so I don't know if anything happened between him & Lisa, and I also don't know for certain if she dated this guitar teacher. All I was stating was MY OPINION that it was unlikely based on what I DO know. The only source for P & Lisa having a sexual relationship is Hahn's book, which is filled with errors, misquotes and outright falsehoods, so I find it highly unlikely. It is conjecture on my part, but no more so that yours. No, I can't prove that Lisa and Prince didn't hook up, but neither can you prove that they did, so its a moot point.

Speaking of that Hahn book if his info been misquote and lies of the people he was writing about I always wondered then how come none of the people sueing him for libel or slander? Make u wonder that some of the gossip info in that book did happen and some of those people just disliking him airing out their dirty laundry. Now I am not saying his book is error-free but these people bitched about the things that he said was untrue then how come not one of them bonded taking legal action against him? And also isn't hahn a lawyer and journalist too and I don't think that he is that dumb enough of making up stuff and risking a lawsuit too especially from a famous celeb and his former associates? That don't make sense.

and i am also being adult here that is apologize that i being nasty to u but i just don't like my words being twisted and also people think that they are certain of something without any evidence so again I sorry too. I hope we cool and I dont want this to cause us to have some amosity here and we all here for the common goal is liking prince's music not trying to knock each other here.
