Prince's Best Extended Version? Where does he make best use out of "expanding" a single?
I think "Thieves in the Temple" doesn't really kick in until the "extended" part; it's nice that you can see the extended video version on launch since I don't own that single. Whatcha' all think is his best extended or 12 inch single? | |

1)the snare drum break on the extended version of "america" 2)Sheila's 11 second timbale roll on the extended version of "i would die 4 u".not the one that's official.because it goes on longer after the fade.FUCKIN'INSANE!  
3)Eric Leeds's saxophone break on "Scarlette P****" (extended).love it

I love a lot of the extended mixes including: Let's work Pop life Paisley Park Partyman I hate u Face down but the two that really stand out to me are: Another lonely Christmas-the extra verse adds so much to the meaning of the song and the extended instrumentation is incredable. But if in a record store with 30 seconds to grab what I wanted, I am going for those six listed above. | |
