I think for me it was "Ronnie Talk to Russia", that song really cracked me up. When I first heard it on the radio, I was lost. I could not believe that it was Prince. It was Peach for me, too! A few years ago I downloaded that "goldenboy" video from kazaa that uses Peach as a background song. At the end it said the song was by Prince and I was shocked!  I mean, like, where is the sun? | |

When i first heard a snippet of "My Name Is Prince" on the radio, and in particular, "My Name is Prince and I am Funky!" I thought it was a parody.
Basically, someone who had got a great beat together and was taking the piss out of Prince for thinking he was so great. Well, you can imagine the silly video that would go with it. | |

If you are old-school, Thieves In the Temple, is quite prince-like.
It is those bland works he does like "money don't matter tonight" that I could believe was someone else. Prince is about energy and when he gets mellow I will turn his stuff off. | |
