How much did it take to build Paisley Park? How much did it take to build Paisley Park??? Or how much is Paisley Park worth today? I'm trying to explain to some fools in Texas that PP is not just average size studio/building.  [Edited 8/11/05 7:49am] | |

"multi-million" dollars. The studio equipment and the instruments alone must be worth several million dollars. Not to mention, he also owns a sound-stage with filming capabilities, very expensive PA, custom interiors (doesn't guarantee tastefulness though). | |

IIRC, it was reported (in "D.M.S.R." I believe) that it cost just $10mil to build. I'm sure it's worth far more than that today. I am MrVictor.... | |

I heard that he spent between 10 and 12 million on PP. I saw an interview with some reported that was sticking up for P - he said "People were trippin' about P spending so much money on this building and how weird people thought it was but if he would have spent 10 million on some blow hollywood wouldn't have cared." I've seen the $10 million figure reported before, and you're on the money there, if Prince had spent it all on shoving shit up his nose in Hollywood bars and nightclubs, no one in the business would've cared one bit. | |

I need to make a trip to Minneapolis area to the "Purple Building". I like to catch Pops  pulling up around 3am to PP going to lay down another Hit. Interviews in past magazine articles he said hes done some his greatest ideas/grooves have came during the night.  | |
