New topic PrintableA lot of mention on this thread of a video for 'The Future' - I've certainly never heard any mention of one being made,
and it's not listed in the FAQ. Are people just getting confused with the fact the track was released in a remixed format in Europe? ...Boris?

I saw the bosx set and screamed running to the other side of the room. I liked the first Batman (Jack Nichalson as Joker was Fab) and the one with Tommy Lee Jones as Two faced. Those actors shined in their roles. I like Michelle Pfiffer as Catwoman but I can't get that horrible image of Halle Berry prancing around out of my head. _________________________________________

Don't joke about such things. I've actually seen a movie called "Bedman & Throbbin". Wait...was that YOU?!

I'll buy the first one, just for the Prince vids. I can't stand the other films.
Oh, and SOS, I have to tell ya, Batman Begins was a superb film. Its the first time Batman has been done right in live action. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

Hell yeah, "Electric Chair" on SNL was hella tight! With Margie Cox on background, Prince tore that stage up! However, I think one of the reasons you haven't seen it re-air is that it was part of SNL's Anniversary special??... I think.

Hell yeah, "Electric Chair" on SNL was hella tight! With Margie Cox on background, Prince tore that stage up! I've just seen that recently, and it is a funky piece. I was kinda suprised that he had a custom set, seeing as I've never seen any performer on SNL have a personalized set for them. You learn something new everyday, I guess. But that was a kick-ass performance... Ooh, little darlin' if you're

I was just questioning the box office expectations. To be totally honest, I didn't care all that much for the latest Batman film also, but I can see why many people liked it.

I was a fan of the Batman comics way before I ever got into Prince , and yet I hardly ever look up others peoples opinions on Batman stuff the same way I follow Prince fansites . To me Batman begins is my 6th favourite bat-film , behind Batman from 1989 ( one of my all-time fave movies ) , Batman Returns and the 1966 Batman film .I even preferred Batman Forever and Batman and Robin to it if I'm honest , "begins" just wasnt as exciting to me as the other films , and I was never really anxious to see an extended explanation of why and how he became Batman . I assumed "begins" was everyones favourite batfilm except for me lol , nice to know others werent raving about it too. i'll probably get both of the tim burton movies - i've almost gotten the second one on several occasions, because i love the look of the film and the characters so much. i'm VERY excited to have a crisp, clear copy of partyman that i don't have to watch on a tiny 'cyberclips' screen!

Batman DVD Giftset Coming October 18 Source: The Hollywood Reporter July 26, 2005 The Hollywood Reporter says that Warner Home Video will release a series of two-disc special editions of the four original "Batman" movies from the late 1980s and '90s. Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever and Batman & Robin will be released October 18. They will be available individually and as a gift set, "Batman: The Motion Picture Anthology 1989-1997." Each special-edition DVD features a new digital transfer of the movie. Bonus features include director commentaries by Joel Schumacher and Tim Burton, cast and crew interviews, several new documentaries, "making of" featurettes and nine music videos from Prince, Seal and the Smashing Pumpkins. [Edited 7/26/05 22:16pm] As a fan of Prince and Batman I'm pretty thriled but but hope they also include Souixsusie and the Banashees video from the second "Batman". I'm hoping this report just forgot the mention them only because they are not as "noteworthy" (to them) as the other major acts mentioned. Let's figure it out...Prince made 3 videos and Seal, and Smashing Pumpkins one each....With a count of nine they might include the almost laughable "Gotham City" from R. Kelly

I know what you mean about the fanboys...I really liked it but I would still place it behind the first two. Definately better than the last two (or whatever they are...the second to last two?). As for "Bad New Bears", I was shocked it was directed by Richard Linklater and thought that "School Of Rock" would be his only attempt a very mainsteam movie (and what an effort it was....excellent movie) but a "Bad News Bears" remake...What was he thinking?

There are two versions of the Banshees' "Face To Face' video; one with the 'Batman Returns' footage and one without. The one without the film footage was released on the band's 'Twice Upon A Time' VHS back in 1993 and is supposed to be rereleased on DVD along with all their other videos soon. I prefer the non-Batman video, but I'll take one with the Batman scenes if it's included on the Tim Burton DVD.
