Does anyone remember seeing the Chevrolet commercial using the song "Little Red Corvette?" The commercial had a live concert clip of Prince singing the tune while playing the piano. Anyway, I figured that since WB owned the master of the song that they sold the rights to Chevy to use the song. I remember seeing that and thinking that there's no way Prince would give permission for that song to be used for a Chevrolet commercial!!

He even asked the fans about it at the Celebration. Also, note that the clip they used was from the SOTT movie (which was not a WB flick). I don't think WB had anything to do with that commercial.

Thanks for the correction Universaluv! I was just assuming about the WB stuff. It just seems strange to me that Prince would do that commercial. Anyway, sorry about the wrong info.
