I went to the premier of Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back in Austin a few years back, and afterward, I asked Kevin about the TRC documentary. He then told an EVEN MORE detailed account than what is on the "Evening With..." DVD (keep in mind, this was BEFORE that DVD was even filmed). Anyhoo, I submitted it as a news story back then, because it just had so much interesting and funny info about Prince. Kevin seemed amused, annoyed and thrilled to have worked with P, all at the same time.

I don't take it that seriously. I only responded to the topic of the thread yet you feel you had to put in a put down. That speaks volumes about the kind of person you are and I would not brag about taking a trip to see W&L. That is some Kool-Aid you need to stop drinking.

I think he's declined, for sure. I personally was impressed with his all too brief career as a comic book writer. He wrote some great comics.

Prince behaved very badly toward Kevin Smith. I hope he learned his lesson but am not holding my breath. As for Kevin Smith, while I've enjoyed some of his stuff he is definitely not as original as he thinks he is. I think he's flat and juvenile. I wonder how he'll grow.
