In France it was aired quite often on the radio despite it never being released as a single or promoted. The Most Beautiful Girl In the World sure helped it gain airplay, but I think it's a really good popp song that could/should have been a hit

I saw the video very often here in germany. MTV, the very popular channel viva and other clip shows aired it many times.

Apparently wanted to release it as a single, but after the huge success of "TMBGITW" (which was released independantly from Warner Bros), then Warner Bros said no! A pitty really, because it quite possibly could have been another hit.

It should have been released on TGE instead of We March, which I don't like and always skip.
What do you think?
Was it aired in the UK as well, or any other European countries?

I totally agree with you. I actually saw the video on MTV once. It was on I think The Grind, that dance show with Eric from The Real World as the host. It was one of the songs they danced to and people were digging it. I Wish WB and could have gotten it together to have it released. Oh well.

At the time it was released to the radio, my friends really liked this song, and they hated most P's stuff
It could have been a hit.
If TGE were eleased at the time, due to the success of TMBGIW it would have been another hit record for Prince
