Check out New Power Soul thats really good. Yeah, RAVE UN2 THE JOY does sound like an album that has Prince talking about his break-up with Mayte. Listen to The Greatest Romance, Man O War, or even Silly Game. That says a lot! Check me out and add me on:

I listened to Rave Un2... for the first time in a couple of years and I must say, it wasn't that bad. In fact, I find that I like more of the album than I thought I did. The only songs that don't thrill me are the title track, Everyday Is a Winding Road, and The Sun The Moon and The Stars. It's not the best at all and most of the songs that I like don't knock my socks off my feet but I dig the album. It was and still remains way better than most of the stuff released in 1999. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

i really don't understand why this album gets so much flack. there are a couple songs on there that make me want 2 vomit in horror ( did someboday say everyday is a winding road ? ) ouhgod . the sun, moon and stars is the joint, and i don't mind saying the reggea breakdown is slammin'. turning from a group rap, into a 3 part harmony ? 2 funky
