What I liked best about Lovesexy period Besides the music, I liked that Prince had words all over his clothes during that time. You know, he'd have "Lovesexy" going up his sleeve or down his pants or other songs written on his apparell. And his band members would have their names on their clothes. I just thought it was cool. I have been tempted to do the same with some of my clothing, you know write with a magic market on a shirt or something, but I can't really think of anything more creative than to write the word "shirt" on it.

The only thing I liked best about the LOVESEXY period was when I loved every song on the album the third time I heard the album. Check me out and add me on:

B.C. - gallery mod. My bad...got it from Yahoo Images, as I have in the past. Didn't think it was infringing on the rules but I apologize for any grievance caused. The point remains that clothes with words on them are cool. All good things they say never last...

DO NOT HOT LINK TO OTHER WEBSITES. Then please inform people about it in a clearer manner. For instance, add instructions on the "Reply to post" page. We've been "hot linking" for years, since it was convenient and nobody had a problem with it - and now it isn't allowed anymore. Fine, just inform us about it. Don't expect visitors to know that by default just because it has been discussed various times on the site or "agreed to" in the .org rules. I've been a computer nerd for the last twenty years and had no idea what "hot linkin" even stood for before this.

Moderators have final say. prince.org administrators and moderators reserve the right to edit, relocate and/or remove any message, at any time, for any reason. Consider all editing decisions final. If you don't agree with a decision, you may discuss it with the moderator who made the judgment in private. If you cannot reach resolution with the Moderator in private, contact the site administrator via e-mail (ben@prince.org), explaining the entire situation, with all relevant links/excerpts/emails, etc. Under no circumstance attempt to start a 'debate' about specific moderation decisions in a public forum. The prince.org discussion forums are moderated by a group of volunteers who have to make difficult decisions, read a lot of messages they aren't necessarily interested in, and deal with complaints, on a daily basis. Oh, and for the record, I didn't expect you to know that by default - that's why you I orgnoted you in the first place - end of.

C'mon, I don't have an issue. That's stretching it to unnecessary portions. This is not about personal relations, just a clearer policy and everybody deserves to see it, especially if there are potential copyright infringement factors behind it. The net is a lively, changing entity and we cannot keep up all the time. For most of us, we use the web for our own enjoyment for a chosen period of time each day, and it's plain silly to expect us to read site rules in case something has changed or differs from the other sites we frequently visit. I've been direct linking images to this very same Prince community since like pffft, 1997 or something. Then wham, it changes. Under no circumstance attempt to start a 'debate' about specific moderation decisions in a public forum. It's not about moderation decisions. Not yours personally or anybody else's. Orgnoting you or any other moderator will do very little to inform people not to post images. If people don't know - they don't. It's about site policies, and we need to be aware of them if we are expected to be able to utilize the site's functionalities correctly. And while there is a separate forum to discuss them, other forums I've understood can be and - have been - used to discuss these matters if something comes up. That's just common sense. Perhaps it's time to do small site changes then, don't you think? "No soliciting for bootlegs, no direct-linking of images". Something like that. Of course I appreciate the fact that you sent a personal message to me, and perhaps to many others. That's good job, especially as you don't get paid for it. [Edited 7/26/05 4:15am]

I'm going to move this particular area of discussion across to the org discussion forum to try and keep Gottletitgo's thread on topic. I am in the process of typing it up at the moment in a flurry of frenzied fingers (get me with my similies!)
So bear with me - I hope we can continue this in the manner it's currently going, as it feels positive - and that in my book can only be a good thing [Edited 7/26/05 5:10am]

Oh, and my contribution to this topic, in a sort of a more-to-the-point-but not quite-way. I've always wanted to have t-shirts that would say:
"I like your girlfriend" "I used to live with my Mom until I was 24" "Yes I'm handsome, but I'm also a transvestite" "Only losers listen to Industrial" and "Metallica sucks", just to see how many drunken asses would try to beat me up in suburban bars. [Edited 7/26/05 5:17am]
