But, I really don't think that there's any truth to the rumor of Rick being the father of Teena's daughter.Every since her daughter was born the media and fans have been asking her is Rick James the father of her baby and Teena's answer has always been "No, Rick is not the father of my child." Just last year, Teena told Jamie Foster Brown owner of Sister 2 Sister Magazine when she asked did her daughter ever see her father and Teena said, Yes, she does, Her father lives in Los Angeles. She has a little brother and a sister. He's married." Peter Butcher is the name of her daughter's father. Teena has thanked him in her liner notes before, but she didn't identify who he was until La Dona. She wrote--PETER BUTCHER THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME MY MOST PRECIOUS GIFT, OUR DAUGHTER..I have never knew of Rick trying to hide anything in his life. He's always been in your face with everything, and I don't think that he would try to hide having a daughter with Teena. Especially, a child as talented and as good-looking as her Alia. No, as much as Rick boast he would want everyone to know that he's the father of Teena's daughter. Teena on the other hand has always been the one that was very secretive about her personal life. She's the one who kept her relationship with Rick James a secret until that VH1 special on her. I'm only telling you all what Teena has said, so I'm not sugarcoating anything. Are you saying that Teena's lying? If so, I would like to know what you've heard. If Teena's daughter is Rick's then she would have two brothers and a sister. Isn't Rick's younger son 14? If so, he would be older than her daughter. Where can I talk to them at? If I do find out that its the truth then I would come on here and eat some serious crow.

Legs, I got nothing but love for you, too, I really enjoy reading your messages. But, I'm just that kind of person that needs to hear it for myself. I do find it really strange that none of this has been leaked to the media. This is just the kind of thing that Wendy Williams and that Ms Jones person feed off of.I'm not saying that Rick's friends/fans aren't telling the truth, but I, myself, need to hear it from Teena, as well. There are some people I know of that's in her circle, so I waiting to hear it from INSIDE HER CAMP. Yes, the truth is the light and like I said before if it is true then I will come on here and eat crow, but for now I won't say anything else on it.

On Rick James' website, there are one or two members of The Stone City Band, a lady that used to work for Mary Jane Productions, Rick's ex pyrotechnic man, and even one of Teena's ex employees that let his presence known on one of the threads where people were downing Teena Marie calling her an unappreciative bitch that owes all her success to Rick.

I don't doubt these people are who they say they are because I have seen them communicate with each other on the site and discuss past experiences that only they would know about. Any one of these people could have contacted Legs by email in private.
