I watched this on DVD yesterday and during the performances (Let's go Crazy, SOTT, Kiss) the cameras were all on him. During the induction speech, the attendees were relatively calm and nodding their head in approval/applause, but P-Diddy did stand on his chair (next to Chris Rock)and gave Prince props for being inducted.

Other than that, nothing out of the ordinary except for his mind blowing performance on While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

Mick Jagger is definately a fan. Mick saw Prince live in 1981 and was so impressed he asked Prince to open for The Stones. Prince opened for them on two occasions, but it didn't go down well with the audience who pelted the stage with whatever they could get their hands on.

Springsteen is also a fan - check out the pic BananaCologne's post

I remember in the Rolling Stone Issue directly after the RRHOF that DHani Harrison stated that he would like to work with Prince in the future. He said something to the effect of finding him interesting.

Don't know if it would happen though.

Prince gave Dhani a hug after the performance backstage.

Even watching it now gives me goosebumps and also a reason to explore George Harrison's works. If there is anything I miss about older incarnations of Prince (1980's-mid 1990's) is his guitar work. I might get flamed for saying this, but he has become much more of a balladeer/Jazz man (Emancipation thru Musicology)than an axe man. Don't get me wrong, P can light it up when he performs live, but his studio albums seem to lack that passion in the guitar work he does live.

In any event, the RRHOF performance was a reminder to many that P is still one of the all time talents in music.
