Ok this is one of the best songs ever! I loved it since the first time I blasted it on my stereo. I always get this image of uptown mpls in 1980 and all the ugly big cars that must have been roaming around and the people with their bad mismatched clothing, polyester, tube socks that go up to the knees, and women with long hair parted down the middle with dresses and high heeled sandles and not wearing their bras with their saggy boobs. Even thought I know it wasn't inspired by her I always get an image of Galye Chapman when he sings about the girl in this song. This song is so upbeat, feel good and FUN! It just makes me wanna
