PP is closed...now there's a new rumor! Can anyone comment? The PP studios website (www.paisleypark.com) is still up and inviting folks to book time there... I think they meant that Mani has confirmed to the church that she left for "spiritual reasons" which means in the "eyes of the church" is now free to pursue a new wife. someone correct me if i am wrong. all i heard was that she left him because HE was not acting "spiritually" (surprise surprise!) and she does not talk to the grahams anymore because they condone his behavior of partying all the time ect. and the 3-day convention was all for show. he went straight to LA after. mannie was at her own convention in minneapolis on the same weekend. now that she left him he is free to do what he wants with who ever he wants, but not in the eyes of the church. and yes paisley park is closed but prince doesnt want anyone to find out because it would look bad. he has been reocrding in LA, not paisley. there are many people who got laid off because of it. | |

If Prince's attendance at the convention was supposed to be a PR move, then why wasn't it publicized in any way? Judging by the pic, he was trying to keep a low profile while there, too. If it was for "show," who was the show for? So did anyone see or hear of Mani at this MPLS convention she allegedly went to? Personally, I don't really care what's taken as fact -- it is as stated, I KNOW it as fact. You guys believe what you want. I'm just confirming or denying on what is already posted. If you want to take it as "my opinion" thats fine too. But I also do not imply to be privvy to some super secretive cryptacular riddle-like knowledge. I know more, but saying it doesnt mean anything. Take it as fact or fiction. Makes no difference to me. I know what I know and thats the end of it. Didnt mean to offend you, just thought I would add my knowledge to help "clarify". Anyway, back to it - what other "factual" info do you know? Well, to tell the TrUtH I probably shouldn't be speaking aloud on these things. They are, as you might guess, confidential in nature. However, since this is a public forum I'll go ahead and assume these secrets are safe with you. 
It turns out that the rumors are correct. The Park has been closed and the recording studios are being rebuilt into tofu-making facilities. You see, Prince has made a break with the past and is starting a new chapter in his life. If you've been following the news, you will know that Prince has been attending scientology meetings at the Cow Palace with Tom Cruise, Steve Wonder, Katie Holmes and his new fiancee' Angelina Jolie. The inside rumor is that when Prince stubbed his toe at the afterparty he had a moment of clarity in which he saw himself as a helicopter pilot, rather than as a musician. Like Cat Stevens and Paul McCartney he will be marching to a different drummer, to the whap whap whap of propellor blades, instead of synthydrums. | |
