Endorphine Machine/Black Cat Has anyone ever noticed how much the guitar part on Endorphine Machine sounds EXACTLY like the guitar part in Janet Jackson's Black Cat?

Snap said: black cat has about 6 different guitarists on it, including jesse johnson
prince performs endorphine machine all by his lonesome I am not a musician, but the MAIN guitar part(which starts the song off and is played mostly throughout the song) is exactly like the MAIN guitar part in Black Cat. I am sure i am not the only one who hears this

black cat sounds cleaner and crisper too, doesn't it
perhaps because of the song's two excellent producers: jam & lewis

I guess it is ok that he ripped from Jam and Terry considering how they ripped the melody of "1999" from Prince for Cherelle's "I Didn't Mean To Turn You On."

Edorphinemachine sounds dirtiet because it's the intention, Black cat is a pop song and endorphinemachine ia a heavy hard rock song.

You wanna check out the old 'Stop Draggin' Around' song by Lenny Kravitz.....very similar.....and way before 'Endorphinemachine'!!!

There are couple note sequences that sound similar, but they are the same riffs. I doubt that one used the other for the foundation to a song, but even if they did, that's OK.
