I have been told that Prince does not read this stuff but it's the closest thing I have to communicating my appreciation.

I am by no means a 'FAN'atic and I do not idolize anyone or anything.

However ... I have to thank this man for all of the beautiful and thought provoking music that he has provided us for all of these years.

Tonight (and on countless other occassions) I was feeling down and a little depressed from the stress and struggle that life brings us all. But Purple Rain was on sattelite and it brought my spirits back up. It took me back to 1984 when I was 14 and things were much simpler. I went to see it five different times with five different girls and Prince did all the work for me.

I don't know if any of you can relate ... but I can just put on one of his songs when I am down or depressed and everything just feels a little better.

His music is medicinal ... and I just wanted to say ....
