The hits and the b sides appreciation thread i just received the cd 'The Hits and the B Sides even through i heard the hits before. i never heard the b sides before. and i must say that cd is excellent My favorites on the b sides are " Girl, Irresistable Bitch, I Love U In Me, Hello, and Shockadelica, & Erotic City. man is soo many of them i cant list. that cd is totally the shit is the perfect cd to dance too. and there are some great ballands on there too.

The Bsides Cd is worth the price alone 
But I won't be the first person on this thread to tell you to get yo ass a record player and hear the full length versions of those tunes!!

The B-Sides like someone else said is worth the price alone! It is one of Prince's best (IMO.) I'm glad you dig it. I have not had my copy of it very long myself either, so I know that feeling. Enjoy the music - I know I am!

I just love the B-Sides disc. That disc definitely has some of the funkiest and stankiest stuff P ever did in his whole career. I will definitely recommend casual and hardcore fans alike to buy the collection because it's just a journey through all the his hits and rare stuff. Check me out and add me on:

I like the b-sides disc but was very disappointed that "Love or $" and "Alexa De Paris" weren't on it. Why??? I also agree that you need to hear the full length versions of these songs, especially the long version of "Another lonely Christmas". Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for. |

I agree!!!! I want "Love or $" too. I wonder if a version of The B Sides will ever be released with the full length songs on it???? Everytime I comb my hair

I agree that I was a little pissed with the omission of "Love or $" and "Alexa De Paris", but where was "Partyman","Batdance","The Arms Of Orion","Glam Slam","I Wish U Heaven","Sexuality","Mountains","Girls & Boys" and numerous other so-called hits. It should have been a 4 CD deluxe box set! |
