Broken down it says Prince will release a new cd in September. It will be unplugged with old and new cuts. It's the second cd with Sony.

This disc has been rumoured to be released since before Musicology. I wouldn't hold my breath.

Nothing is certain until it's released, Prince is notorious for changing his
mind and plans right up to the last minute. Personally I think it's unlikely
that the Acoustic album will get released as it's now quite an old project,
and from what i've heard there is indeed a proper New album on the way.

CONsidered at 1 stage 2 b 1 disc of a 2 disc package (with the Musicology tour DVD). But was this Prince's idea?
The Acoustic album idea has been shelved 4 a reason.

And yes, the New album is on its way. Do u have a timeline? Eye hear September.
It also sounds like it will b promoted heavily.

This information was given this time last year. People were waiting to see a P-cd come out in the fall. Rumored to be a live disc or an acoustic cd or mixed stuff. Never appeared. Were all due for another cd, don't you think?

As Boris said, you can never be 100% sure with P until the album is released, but he is suppossed to be releasing an album in the Fall entitled 3121. TENATIVE plans, at best.

I work at Sony and the Emporium has Musicology on sale, they also just started selling NewPowerSoul and Chaka's Come to My House.
