I don't know about anybody else but I was extremely disappointed when he abandoned the idea to re-record his Warner material.

There are loads of unreleased projects I'd love to see surface though, The Flesh is up there for me. I doubt it was ever a "seemingly abandoned project" but..here it is anyways...
A Batman soundtrack dualdisc. 
On one side have all the Batman out-takes gelled with demos and remixes and the orignal soundtrack remastered on one side of the disc. On the other side, have all the music videos from "Batman" and maybe an interview with Prince about the songs and the performance of "Electric Chair" from SNL. Now that would be...like..WOWZA! serious WOWZA!  | |

I loved the Revolution. He needs to officially release some of the other *ahem* material thats circulating as well. They need to master it, but keep it like a live recording (which tend to be much more funky and string driven). These copies going around are piss poor.
