The Exodus Has Begun..... The song 'Exodus' is killer. Wouldn't it be cool if Prince played it on the One Nite Alone tour? Of course there would be no swearing!

It would work seeing that Prince uses a slowed down voice on 'Exodus', and 'The Rainbow Children' opens up with a similar voice. | |

How many of you orgers out there liked the song 'Exodus'? The whole album is through the roof (minus the skits and "Cherry, Cherry"). I'd lent my copy out months ago and the girl FINALLY found it after denying I'd ever given it to her(!) "Big Fun", "The Good Life"...love the whole thing. What The Black Album should've been. | |

I LOVE this album & The Exodus Has Begun...is one of my fave tracks on it...just funky and funny as hell. The beginning of that track is just killer. "Have mercy!"
Also love The Return of The Bump Squad. I have always thought if this album was given the proper push, it would have been a decent hit (of course you could say that A LOT with Prince records). But with the exception of "Cherry, Cherry" (too much cheese oozing from that one for my tastes) the album is one major groove.  | |

I was listening to Exodus today. I still think it would have been a lot greater album if it had the same production of ´Gold Nigga´
I dont understand why P changed the sounds of the drums, making them sound plastic. And the bass sometimes sounds like keyboard bass too. Compare the ´Get Wild´ with the one from Ahdio 4. The same happens with ´Return of the bump squad´ |

The Exodus has begun is incredible and absolutely fierce. Prince sounded like he just had to get his frustrations out on that one. It rocks hard. | |
