All of his long hairdo's with the exception of that typhoon mess and those "what the hell was he thinking" rubberband braids, rank 10+'s from me. The only short do that I love was his "Parade" look. Hubba hubba!!

Around the World in a Day. 6's. Cute but not his best.

Parade. 10 's. Shic, sexy, perfect.

Sign O the Times. 8's. I liked it.

Lovesexy/Batman/Graffiti Bridge. 9's. Lovesexy's ponytails are adorable. Batman was just mysterious and beautiful at the same time, and Graffiti Bridge the same, just with a beard attached.

Diamonds and Pearls/Symbol. 4's. Funny looking, embarrassing.. Cute only sometimes.

Come. 3's. Crazy even for Prince. Glad he tried it and got it out of the way, though.

The Gold Experience-Emancipation. 5's. The Artist trademark look. Cut short with faded hair near his ear and stuff. Not so great.

New Power Soul (I have to include it cuz it's my fave!)- 10:*:'s. Hair highlighted with beautiful bobs and even the funny stuff in the back, and many ponytails. I just love it. Beautiful Strange.

Rave Un2 the Joy Fantasitc. 10 's. The bob grown out more, and the facial hair (added) makes the average increase greatly, despite the plaits, which weren't bad to me at all.

The Rainbow Children 8's. Similar to Lovesexy/Graffiti Bridge, though he wasn't seen much, he was rockin' a longer 'do.

One Nite Alone/Musicology 10 's. Short and diverse. Straight with bangs, a "natural" if you will, and short bob. Really looks good for his age and the professional look but Princey look he tries to balance.

His hair during the Parade era would have to have been my all time favourite. Especially in "Kiss" lol I don't know why, I think it makes him look younger and sophisticated but still funky!

Then Diamonds & Pearls "typhoon" being a close second... it's fun, it's creative, it's... wonderful

black men should never...and i mean never sport straight hair...
