What is the best "officially relleased" Prince DVD?

If that be true, then they SERIOUSLY need to officially release more Prince DVDs.

wow, good question. i'll probably get razzed for this, but my favorite "official" prince DVD is the "live at the aladdin" DVD. now, don't get me wrong - the editing, sound and camera work are all pretty shoddy, but the performances are great. i've watched this one more than all my other officially released DVDs.

now, if 'prince & the revolution live' or the lovesexy live vids were ever to be officially released on DVD, my answer would change considerably. i guess you could say the SOTT movie is officially on DVD now, but i'm still holding out for a more "commemorative" edition to come out someday (though i'm sure i'll give up and buy the one currently out there sooner or later...)

I give Rave a 6 out of 10.
I have heard that Live At The Aladdin isn't that great quality wise.
I'd have to go personally with..the hits music video collection.

another good choice, especially because of the live clips and the scenes from the MTV special. nod

It's a damn shame that 'Live At The Alladin' wasn't the complete show. I love what's on there but why release an imcomplete show?

The ONA tour was great an awesome experience going off the 2 shows that I saw.

I still rate it more than that shower of shit that is Rave Un2 The Year 2000 though!
if you've gotta pay for things that you've done wrong I've gotta big bill coming at the end of the day- Gil Scott Heron

Prince.org where fans of Prince meet and stay up too late

Those are my favorite. I especially love the part with him getting out of the limo and walking up the red carpet with the bodyguards. He was the absolute definition of a "star".....outrageous, "pretty", and loads of attitude.
