in prince's logic: is it alright to buy 'the very best of' second hand? hey
when this compilation came out Prince was asking his fans not to buy it seeing it was WB trying to cash in on his music, which they unrightfully possessed, while he was no longer under contract with them...So following that logic, would he oppose buying the cd from a second-hand store? that way WB gets no cash as opposed to buy it new. any guesses? grtz Kev1n It was not in vain...it was in Minneapolis!

Prince still had a contractual relationship with WB when it was released. That relationship enabled them to release the material. Prince might not agree with the justice of WB still retaining a right to issue the CD, but they were legally entitled to do so. . ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.
