Does anyone know why Did Prince ever come out and give a final and definitive reason why after
Graffiti Bridge he never tried to do anymore films? "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done.

well, he did keep doing film projects, but they were either straight to video or meant to be played before concerts, or else they were just private projects that never went anywhere. consider 'three chains'o'gold', 'the undertaker', 'the beautiful experience', etc. - personally, i think his more "underground" film projects are way more interesting, even if they may be as cheesy as anything in 'graffiti bridge'.

'Graffiti Bridge' was supposed to be the first of four new movies that Prince intended to make in the 90s.These projects were mentioned in 1989,when director Albert Magnoli was Prince's manager for a brief time. The other planned movies were...
'The Dawn'---described as a "street oriented" sequel to 'Graffti Bridge' 'The Dark Side Of The Moon'---a documentary of Prince's career 'The Robert Johnson Story'---a biopic about the legendary blues guitarist, with Prince playing the lead role Undoubtedly, the box office failure of 'Graffiti Bridge' prevented these other movies from being made. It's a shame.I really wanted to see Prince playing Robert Johnson
