Black Album - Fake

Around 1991-92 when the Black Album was still unreleased, I remember someone telling me that a market in my area was selling CD's of it. Of course I nearly creamed myself. Next day I went there and asked for 'black album by prince'.

The dodgy geezer who worked on the stall got really angry with me as if he had been asked this so many times before, saying that it wasn't prince. I guessed he didn't know his arse from his elbow, so I asked to listen to it. When he put it on, i almost pissed myself with laughter. Out of the speakers came some bloke who sounded like he had just smoked 20 cuban cigars, singing Le Grind. I walked away from the stall laughing before the stall owner could batter me.

My question is, does anyone know about this 're-imagining' of The Black Album, who sang it and what poor sole bought it?

I don't really know who was behind it, but I downloaded it a few years back. It's a carbon copy of the album from start to finish.
Don't worry, I can't get pregnant - my ovaries are diseased......

There was this French(?) group called the Royal Black Album Band in 1987/88 .
They released a vinyl record of the Black Album and covered the whole album in its entirety.
I saw it here in Germany in the late 80´s.
Don´t know if that´s what you heard.
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"
