this was one of the first prince bootleg tracks i ever heard.. it was on my first 'bootleg box-set' (prince in rock).. this was way back in 1994 when bootleg companies didn't give two shits about the "quality" of their releases.. the version I had of "she's just a baby" was slowed down way too much, and full scratches and hisses.. pretty shitty quality, as if someone held a cheap micro-recorder up to a broken car stereo speaker while snoring loudly and obnoxiously..

i've heard "cleaned-up" mixes since then, but it's not the same.. the poor quality & fucked up speed gives an eerie, bizarre, vibe to it.. makes it sound much more perverse and creepy than on later releases..

She's Just a Baby is a kick-ass song, I love it!! It is one of my favorite Prince bootleg singles.
