I like "The Hits". I have the VHS and I didn't know it was available on DVD until recently. The local record store ordered it for me three or four weeks ago and I'm still waiting for it. Prince needs to release "The Hits (Volume 2)" lol

Yeah I have The Hits on VHS

And I'm debating to either buy it or Live At The Alad DVD. I just can't decide.

I have Rave (the concert DVD) but it left somethign to be desired for in my eyes.

But I gotta say..Live At The Alad DVD has "Money Don't Matter" on it and that is one of my favorite Prince songs..so to see it live..well it might be the one to go with, eh? headbang

Alas, the "Money Don't Matter" segment lasts about 30 seconds. The Aladdin show is okay, but it's not a fair representation of the quality of the tour IMO. By the way, according to Q magazine "Sign O'The Times" is released om dvd tomorrow (11th July). Apologies to all if this is old news.

No kidding! It is on DVD tomorrow? What perfect timing!

Thanks for the heads up on "Money Don't Matter." That kind of knocked down that DVD on my "Going to Buy ASAP List" haha But thank you all the same. I would have rather found out before buying it than later and being angry.

Good Work thumbs up!

That release of the "SOTT" DVD on 7/11 is in England. It is still NOT on DVD in the US. Your best bet is to order it from Canada, where it has been released on DVD. Try www.amazon.ca

Unofficial - Dirty Mind NY/Paris.woot!

Official - None. Rave is crap, so is the Aladdin, The Hits is just lightweight.

Prince really needs to work on his DVD releases. Great to see SOTT is being released officially in the UK today, i'll be picking that up for sure.
