do u think he'd consider releasing them with all the old extended versions replacing the originals, such as Let's Work, Paisley Park, U Got The Look etc. ?

and would u prefer to see them on the albums in place of the originals?

or were the originals as intended back then and not just edited because of vinyle time constraints?

preferably they'll all get released some day in deluxe editions

i'd rather have an extra disc with the remixes and whatnot, and have remastered versions of the original albums as they were originally released.

Yep. Original LP and then the extras, ie long versions, remixes, b-sides and outtakes.

i'd plotz if one day prince would/could release a compilation of singles and b-sides in a clamshell box set like stereolab and nick cave have done this year (bjork did something similar with her "livebox" set). just a down'n'dirty box of the glory days WB 12" singles, maybe with a very basic booklet w/ all the cover art and credits. how hot would that be?
