I like every here like buttered popcorn, but I am confused at this thread. Are we praising the UberFans cause they want Prince to reinvigorate them with experimental new music, or are we condemning them ?

There's no doubting the fact that Almost everyone here will jump out their Calvin's for a new record, and the detractors will be waiting to trash it. Which way shall we go ( I am confusing myself now ) ?

I think many/most of us would appreciate something challenging from Prince...though I might not like or listen to it as much as other things he's put out over the years. For example, I think it's cool he did some of the less mainstream stuff that he did in recent years, but I'll also say that I still listen to some of the older stuff a lot more than TRC, N.E.W.S., etc. Hope I'm making sense, I should have gone to bed hours ago!
